Main Stream Events and PR Firm welcomes Fox Banquet and Event Center as a Preferred Vendors.   They are in the heart of Redlands, CA and a venue that will hold up to 300 seated guests and 700 total capacity with 6500 square feet of space, 1200 square feet of lower space and upper lobby. The History of the Fox:

"The Redlands Fox was built in 1927 and opened officially on December 28, 1928 withcelebrities in attendance from Hollywood. The film shown at the time was Laurel & Hardy in “Habeas Corpus“.  Also,  “Naughty Baby” starring Alice White and Jack Mulhall andVaudeville shows were featured there. Shortly thereafter, the silent movies started with the Wurlitzer organ in place. Then the talkies began and the Fox went through many changes.  The biggest change was to a multi-plex cinema.  In the 40’s, the backstage of the theatre was walled out to make 2 multiplex cinemas and the original theatre was no more.

During the last 30 years, the theater has been totally unavailable to the public. For the first time in all those years, the theatre is finally open and the public is elated. Several times a day, drop-in's come in and are filled with nostalgia as they remember their youth, smoking in the balcony, or snuggling with their date, or hanging out with the guys. Redlanders are thrilled to be reunited with their beloved theatre.

The Fox was built in a Spanish Colonial Revival style and maintains its integrity in the lobbies upstairs and downstairs, which were lovingly restored.  The “Ballroom” is now a banquet facility with crystal and wrought iron chandeliers, specialty lighting, with an acoustically superior sound system.  The room is draped with red velvet and gold with draped mirrors and the original praesidium.The downstairs seating was all removed and the floor was leveled and turned into a ballroom that seats 400 people comfortably and 700 standing for concerts.

Our Venue isnow being booked regularly for weddings and wedding receptions, birthday parties for all ages, class reunions, high school proms & winter formals, Fundraisers, Fashion Shows, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceañeras, Film Festivals, Memorials, and Holiday Events.

Company Picnic

What makes my day is when I see employees mingle and bring their families to a company picnic.   Main Stream Events and PR Firm had the honor of working with a new client in Hopewell, VA. 

Colonial DJ's provided the music and games to keep the party going for six hours.    Walter Baker did a fabulous job. Nanny's Restaurant provided the BBQ and sides which were fantastic. Scotty's Ice Cream Truck was I think the hit of the event with free ice cream all day.   Six hours of unlimited ice cream and because it was 84 degrees, I know many went back three or four times, but who was counting. Bounce 2 the Moon provided the inflatables and spin art.

Vivid Expressions provided the caricature artist and Patrick had a steady flow of people the entire time.  He did such a great job and these pictures could have been framed.  Awesome job.

James River Transportation provided the shuttle service for employees to tour the plant with a great security guided tour.   Each tour was very informative and the families that went enjoyed the experience.

Christina Cox was the official EMT and a great day with no injuries is always good in my book. My team was amazing as always and could not have done it without Kelly, Laura, and Christina.

The Salvation Army Hope Gala 2015

This was a Black Tie Event for The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command.  Main Stream Events and PR Firm designed and coordinated their Hope Gala 2015.  This is there 2nd annual and we are honored to have coordinated both of them.  We had 375 feet of Red Carpet and a beautiful archway filled with ice and flowers that the guests walked through as they arrived inside the main lobby.

It was a team effort with amazing vendors and wonderful Salvation Army staff and volunteers.

Emmitt Smith was our Key Note Speaker and what a story he has.

Stage Right Lighting Weddings-Special Events from the uplighting, stage washes and spandex circles, to the beautiful colored lanterns hanging from the center of the basketball court. The lighting was the finishing pieces we needed to bring this event to life. They were also a sponsor and so appreciate your generosity and flexibility.  They also provided the spandex for the VIP stage backdrop.

Botanique provided the beautiful linens, napkins, and centerpieces and was such a delight to work with. She also sponsored the acrylic arch and flowers in the main lobby.   It was so beautiful to walk through and was a great addition to the ice.

Big Top Entertainment provided the VIP/outside red carpets, stanchions, velvet ropes, bar, and amazing black velour backdrop on the stage to the pipe and drape around the basketball courts.

Astro DJs (Entertainment) provided and sponsored the VIP pictures with Emmitt Smith for the guests to take home at the end of the evening.

Ice Art - created the two amazing ice pillars with The Salvation Army Shield.  All-Star Photobooth provided and was a sponsor the photos in the main lobby.  Express Valet - provided and was a sponsor for Valet Service.  Waterford Event Rentals, LLC - worked with us on the spandex chair covers and the bands.  Whiting Turner - sponsored the rest of the red carpets.  Wow, 350 feet of red carpets inside the building.  Calvin Dunn Photography - sponsored the event photography and the amazing pictures.

Bon Secours Open House

Main Stream Events and PR Firm was honored to coordinate their open house/blessing on May 5.  Another Bon Secours Medical Center has opened in the Ghent Area.  Now open at 930 W. 21st, Norfolk, VA.

The Gourmet Gang brought the delicious food that the guests enjoyed and the beautiful floral arrangements.

Colonial DJs made sure the PA system was in perfect order for their remarks.  Big Top Entertainment and Main Stream Events and PR Firm provided the rentals and linens.

They were honored to have Mayor Fraim and many special guests along with the Bon Secours staff from many of the locations.

Corporate Holiday Party

Main Stream Events and PR Firm planned a fun Game Night from ARS Game Show where all 60 guests could play with a clicker, Giant Jenga, Operation Game, Corn Hole, Mini Golf, and Arcade. 

All guests won tickets for the Chinese Action with 30+ prizes from Gift Certificates, Diamond Pendant Necklaces, iPad, Tablet, TV to a laptop.

All this was created and coordinated by Main Stream Events and PR Firm.   Huge shout out to Holiday Inn Hotel Virginia Beach-Exec Center for the amazing food and space.

Physicians for Peace Gala

Main Stream Events and PR Firm  designed and produced the Physicians for Peace 25th Silver Anniversary Gala in just 5 weeks. This was a Black Tie Event.

We started the evening off with a flag ceremony of 40+ flags from around the world, silent and live auctions, steel drummers, African dancers and drummers, Filipino dancers, and the band, Rare Mixx ended the gala with some live entertainment that got everyone on the dance floor. 

It was a team effort with amazing vendors and wonderful Physicians for Peace staff and volunteers.

Leslie Hartig Floral Design provided the center pieces and was such a delight to work with during the process.

Stage Right Lighting Weddings-Special Events provided the uplighting and stage washes. The lighting was the finishing pieces we needed to bring this event to life.  Big Top Entertainment provided the amazing backdrop on the stage and stage. Astro DJs (Entertainment) provided the Red Carpet photos for the guests to take home at the end of the evening.

Waterford Event Rentals provided the beautiful satin linens, napkins, spandex chair covers and bands.  Jason Hillian of All You Photo captured the beautiful event photography.  The Entertainment was top notch with One Love Steel Band (Steel Drum), Atumpan (African Dancers and Drummers), The Young Filipino American Modern Dancers and Rare Mixx (for the after party).  Kelly Bridgman of Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel did a great job taking care of me for the venue.

Casino Holiday Party

This was such a fun holiday celebration for 34 employees and guests for Zukerman and Associates, Ltd. Together we decided on a casino theme so we called it "A Night in Monte Carlo" to add a little red carpet style and decorated with black, red and white.

Astro Entertainment was hired and brought in Jerritt Brantley, a Star Disk Jockey who was the highlight of the evening with music that kept them entertained, trivia questions that kept them at the stage all night waiting for the next question.  We had casino tables and everyone got to play each table and as they won each game, raffle tickets were given out for the guests to choose from 17 raffle gift prizes with a Chinese Auction style.  Greg Chappell was the Pit Boss and added uplighting around the room to make it even more elegant with shades of red to go along with the decor and then we changed it up by adding different colors throughout the evening.

Holiday Inn Virginia Beach Norfolk Hotel and Conference Center was spectacular with the service they provided for my clients.  We had the entire space back in the Executive Ballrooms which made our event very private.    Hi 5 Balloons added a few touches with 2 balloon towers at the entry way that matched our casino theme.

Guests had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food, entertainment, casino, and the photobooth.
